Build quantum breakthroughs with industry-leading scientists.
Partner with Xanadu's algorithms team to turn a problem in your field into a comprehensive quantum application, from first idea to a hardware-ready solution and published research.
Why it matters
Knowing that quantum matters isn't the same as knowing where it fits.
Together, we take a hard problem in your domain, such as chemistry, materials, batteries, or sensing, and develop a quantum approach to solving it.
Collaborators include enterprises, government agencies, and research institutions. You bring the problem and the domain expertise. We bring quantum algorithm expertise, research tools, and deep knowledge of the hardware.
How it works
One research cycle, refined until it's ready.
- Step 1
Scope
Together we pick a problem that matters to your business and define what a useful result looks like.
- Step 2
Build
Our researchers and yours develop the algorithms, run resource estimates and test them on simulators and hardware.
- Step 3
Publish
You get working quantum algorithms and custom tools built for your problem, delivered in PennyLane and ready to run as the hardware scales. When appropriate, we publish the papers together.
What you get
A research team, not just a report.
A joint team
Xanadu researchers working for you or alongside your scientists and engineers for the length of the project.
Results you can use
Algorithms, resource estimates and a clear view of when your problem becomes tractable.
Algorithms you keep
Everything built in PennyLane, open source and ready for use when fault-tolerant hardware is online.
Collaborations in practice
What we're building with partners

Bringing quantum programming to one of the world's most powerful supercomputers
Press · April 29, 2026
Xanadu partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory to bring PennyLane to Frontier, one of the world's most advanced supercomputers. Together, we enabled researchers to simulate larger quantum programs than ever before, cut runtimes by spreading work across thousands of processors, and trained ORNL's research community through hands-on workshops.
PennyLaneDesigning next-generation jet engines with Rolls-Royce and AMD
Blog · March 10, 2026
Xanadu partnered with Rolls-Royce and AMD to scale the quantum algorithms behind future jet engine design. Together, we simulated airflow through turbine blades at a size never before run in a quantum setting: 20 qubits and 35 million operations in under two hours, with simulations running up to 25x faster on AMD GPUs.
ApplicationsFinding new light-activated cancer treatments with quantum computing
Blog · January 29, 2026
Xanadu's algorithms team developed a quantum approach to screen light-activated cancer drug candidates before they're ever made in a lab. It predicts the two properties that determine whether a treatment works, and needs some of the lowest quantum resources of any application in the field, putting it within reach of future quantum computers.
